Anyone doing installs this weekend? So far on my list I've done a couple of things-UUC tranny mounts, ZKW ellipsoids, and x-brace:D. They all were a PITA but I got them done somehow. Hopefully today I'll put on my JTD underpanel if I have time. Anyone else doing any projects this weekend?

I got myself a set of OEM 18s, and a set of Kumho Ecstas 265/35/18, for auto-x this season.

I was planning to paint the wheels black (and leave the lip silver or polish it) because I hate the chrome shadow finish, and I thought it would look cool and different than the typical silver wheels. Also it would hide the infamous BMW brake dust.

But I started sanding a little bit to prep them for paint, and MAN that finish is thick and tough. Now I am having second thoughts about painting them. :rolleyes: Especially since I still have the get the tires mounted and balanced, and then heat cycle them, before the first event on the 28th of March.

So I might just touch up the part I sanded, and go with that. :D

Ok, maybe i did have a little help.......I guess someone had to actually do the installs while I watched TV and polished my rimzzzzzzz:D

I installed part of my brake cooling kit and my rear GC's yesterday, that's enough for this weekend. I of course had to put in a call to Dobywan, master of BMW's when I couldn't get to one of the bolts. Next weekend hopefully I'll get the front GC's on (cough, cough, need your help John).

George. Are those Black ACS rims yours? Have any pics of them on your car?

yeah, they're mine. i dont have pics of them on my car, they have RACING tyres on them so I can't really put them on:)

I first saw an article about ACS's 10th anniversary edition car (a Ti w/ tweaked M3 engine in all black and red), I felt in love with that! I then contact Wheel Collision Center in PA, ship the wheels along w/ the pics from the article to them, and they painted the wheels exactly like the ACS 10th anniversary one!

LOL, did you catch saved by the bell on monday andy???? It was the one where they had a dance contest and CASEY KASEM himself was a guest star:love1 !!! It was really entertaining and I learned an awesome lesson.

Today's full house was awesome too, DJ was branded a bad kisser at school and refused to tell Danny. Then Uncle Jesse practically bitch-slapped michelle. They had a "tanner" family picnic and jesse decided it was way more important to stay at home and write a kick ass song instead of going to some loser family picnic. When michelle told him he lied to her he said (in other words) "Shut up you little bitch, I'm going to make mah $$$$$$." He's not even apart of the white trash tanner family, he's just doing the greek thing to do and leaching off them and nailing the white hoe rebecca.:buttrock
