Setup.. Clarion Head Unit
Pioneer 5 1/2 coaxials 120w peak 25w rms
Alpine Tweeters
30w rms 120w peak
and stock nokia Mids 3"

would this be okay if i wired the 3 components to a aftermarket pioneer amp.. it puts 60w rms and 120w max.. @ 2 ohms x 2 stereo.. right now its currently running the mids and lows off of the head unit and the highs off of the amp.. the highs cant take much power they start to sound un clear after i put the power 6/8ths of the way

pioneer amps aren't the greatest... don't be surprised if your amp freuently overheats and shuts off on you

eliminate the 3" mids and you should be fine (i don't have any "mids" in my car)

pioneer amps are not the greatist.. thus i am not the richest..

But it works for me..

and it sounds boring without my mids..

im thinking of swapping the setup from my celica

clarion dxz945mp
XTant 4 Channel 400W amp
JL Audio Component set XR525csi
4" Alpine Type R Coaxials (REAR)
2 12" JL Audio W6
Pheonix Gold Amp..

the only thing is.. in order to put the jl seperates in.. (It wont fit all the way in the kick panel).. i got to do some cutting.. so when i get the time.. hehe but for now i wanna know what will power my fronts the clearest and the best with minimal distortion.. speaker is 4 ohm tweeter is 4 ohm mid 3" I Think is 8 ohms.. amp puts out 60w RMS at 2 - 55RMS at 3 and 50 RMS at 4

That will work in terms of ohm load. I'm not sure how it's going to sound if it's not crossed over, though.

tweeter has cap crossover and coaxial is fine.. mid 3" no more
