I replaced the stock deck of my 95' 325i with a sony HU. Now my dash gauges don't work. There was one bundle of wires on the back of the stock deck that I didn't connect because I thought that they went to the rear for a changer. The amp wires and the general power, ACC etc. I connected to the correct wires on the sony HU. But there was no where to connect this one bundle of wires. Could this be the problem. If so can anyone tell me what these wires do, so that I can rig them up so that my gauges work again.

When I made some phone calls people told me to check the fuses. Duh I did that first thing and they are all good. Someone also told me that I have to keep the stock deck connected and hidden in the dash because the car talks through the deck. This sounds like a load of crap to me. I can't imagine everyone with an aftermarket headunit leaving there stock deck hidden in the car.
