Does anyone know if the "green" illumination on an Alpine CDA-7878 can be changed to BMW orange? I know that the later Alpine head units have built in dual illumination. Can the face plate be opened and modified with orange LEDs?

I love the features and sound of the unit, but it clashes with the rest of the interior lighting.

I'd like to know this also i have the same HU, my guess is its not going to be easy.

Thanks guys, sorry we missed that thread. So its with the faceplate where you change out the bulbs. Thats much easier than I originally thought!
