there've been a few posts (as i'm aware of) on custom intalls already - that'll help you out with the pics. maybe people can give you a few ideas if you mention a few extra things: what experience do you have such as box designs and materials, what are you hoping for (SPL, SQ, presentation, etc.)

Thanks, that is a sweet set-up. I like the clean look but it has some flare to it, def nice.

I may try something like that, just change the colors.

Was it expensive, if I may ask?

i could never imagine spending more than $100 on materials for an enclosure.

scream - very nice install - i'm not sure what you fabricated the wall out of (carpet matched wall that is flush with box face), but generally speaking i kinda stray away from those designs. sound needs to get into the cab, and if you seal everything off in the trunk, it tends to muffle the sound. of course there's ways around this: building the wall out screening or 'swiss-cheesed' masonite, or porting through the rear deck.

i'm kinda dumb-founded at the example of a guy on this forum sealing in everything - can't remember if it was bondo or fiberglass - and then finishing off with a layer of cf. he did a good job, no doubt there... but the trunk was completely shut off from the cab.

if you're thinking about staying ltw then maybe you should consider a single 12 enclosure glassed into the wheel well. if you can live without a spare, this'll leave you reasonably close to stock weight in the rear, and it doesn't take up half of your trunk space.

if this idea sounds at all interesting to you i can go into more detail on specific options, otherwise there's still other things to do.

jason

EDIT: didn't realize that wasn't your car scream, still nice

I have all the equipment, I would just be doing the enclosure

someone did fiberglass subwoofer "balls" instead of boxes. came out looking really nice, and looked smaller than a standard box. someone must remember who it was.

Here is what I did with a 10". I mounted the amp on the back of the seat. Takes up nearly no room at all, but I believe I made it a little too small volume though.
