Lance325is 11-15-2001, 11:33 PM i dont know much about them so im guessing the E65 was the most recent and im going with that Preppy 11-15-2001, 11:54 PM You like the new ones dude? I dunno, the new ones are starting to grow on me though.....but the 95-01 were so aggressive looking...... Hyperion 11-16-2001, 12:04 AM This one. http://hyperion.50megs.com/750325.gif Preppy 11-16-2001, 12:11 AM I like those too Hype, those kinda led the way for the aggressive styling of Bmw's........but then Bangle f*!ked it all up  Bimmerhead 12-10-2001, 08:52 AM :fu: Chris Bangle The E65 is FUGLY. The drive & suspension improvements deserve a better looking body than the one they designed. My next car will be a Mercedes, unless of course Mr. Bangle goes to work in Stuttgart. :( Preppy 12-10-2001, 11:37 PM Hey Bimmerhead, what year is your 7? 332 RustBucket 12-10-2001, 11:43 PM here's mine - 740 Sport Preppy 12-10-2001, 11:46 PM Gotta love the M-parallels, yummy......what year is yours dude? It looks NICE  umnitza 12-11-2001, 12:41 AM 332's car is most likely a 99 sport...but I could be wrong. I thought the blacked out trim was only on the 99 sport models. My wife's is a 98. Totally new engine from a 2001 now as part of CPO. http://home.pacbell.net/umnitza/sideview.gif 332 RustBucket 12-11-2001, 12:56 AM u wrong, :nono Just kidding, it's a 2000. I didn't think they made a Sport in 98?? The Sport is the best model, only my opinion. umnitza 12-12-2001, 07:15 PM Originally posted by 1994 332 TMS car u wrong, :nono Just kidding, it's a 2000. I would never claim that my car was the "sport" model...unless some poor sap was buying it and didn't know any better...then I'd lay it on him;) Just kidding. I didn't know that the 2000 sport model had blacked out trim! I agree with it being the "best" 7 series model. MDabney 12-12-2001, 11:40 PM  The e38 is one beautiful car, the last Seven series worth owning imho. At least until there are some major modifications made to the upcoming e65, probably in 2004/5 after sales slide. http://images.cardomain.com/installs/151000-151999/151134_30_full.jpg Take a look at mine at the link below and let me know what you think. Preppy 12-13-2001, 03:54 AM That's really pretty dude, I remember my moms old 95 740il with the 4.0 v8.....that thing hauled ass..... How does the 4.4 work? And correct me if I am wrong, but that is the same 4.4 that is in my X5 right? :95 umnitza 12-13-2001, 04:55 PM Originally posted by PreppyX5 That's really pretty dude, I remember my moms old 95 740il with the 4.0 v8.....that thing hauled ass..... The Beastmaster 12-14-2001, 11:46 PM Oops! I forgot Max Fretter. Bimmerhead 12-15-2001, 09:26 AM :) Guys, I emailed this page to Big T and asked if he would like to come aboard. He & I met last April, and he is a real gentleman and he posesses a great deal of expertise on the E38. Hopefully he will join. :D umnitza 12-15-2001, 07:13 PM Originally posted by The Beastmaster You forgot Meacham, Koeller and Ekkehart! I don't know these guys. I've stopped having significant interest in my wife's car once I got mine. And I have a hard time going through Bimmer.org. It seems like the moderators are constantly deleting threads. I think it would be hard for them to switch, but I would really like to see their knowledge on this board. Thanks for leading the charge. Here is the pic, nothing special, just an old 750IL. mikey 01-05-2002, 12:39 AM thanks hyp. was that an e32 or e38? the angle makes it hard to tell. the grill looks like e32, but I don't recognize the shape of the spoiler. i am probably missing an obvious clue. mikey:atom umnitza 01-05-2002, 03:04 AM it's an E32. Looks like a 93 or 94 740i Hyperion 01-05-2002, 03:35 AM Its an 88, or an 89, I cannot remember any more. As for the E number, sorry, I just don't know. If the pic looks funny thats because its backwards. Notice the air vent which should only be on the driver side of the car is on the left. I flipped it so that it would work with the other pic I had of my 325. Green Ox 01-15-2002, 12:59 AM E38!! :D Randy '97 iL http://www.geocities.com/rsuesakul/bmw.htm Preppy 01-19-2002, 12:10 AM Randy, nice ride dude! :buttrock I love the ///m parallels, looks scrumdidlieumpcious :alright CrowBar 01-19-2002, 04:23 PM I gotta say, even as an E32 owner, the E38 is the prettiest iteration so far. I can give the E65 a pass IN BLACK, but otherwise.......er......uh......... I wish BMW had retained the 8 series and put the 6.0 v12 in it.....can you imagine? :evil2 |
