She is slated for the body shop and interior shop next month.....
or around spring break........
Apex E36 02-18-2004, 08:43 PM I like the Alpina front, hides the FMIC very nicely.
1 more heart transplant? Whats going in? Boosted V8?
And are you going to sell the current set-up?
Cant wait to see the new motor :buttrock
mertdastan 02-18-2004, 08:44 PM Are you not restricting air flow into the IC with all those grills?
Otherwise looks nice.

Actually no restiction in airflow to the FMIC...it is very very
efficient still....

hal9000 02-18-2004, 09:57 PM Don't know if it's the picture or the setting, but the paint looks slightly oxidized. I'd expect the red to be alot deeper and richer....
turbojunky 02-18-2004, 10:35 PM Nice Nice looking Good
TurboM3 02-19-2004, 07:18 AM why is there a missing light?

a combination of both....
you know how red fades after a few years in the florida sun
it was paintedback in 99
Nice :) but wouldn't you rather have your ram-air somewhere else, like on top of the hood or something? now it looks like one of your lights is broken... and does the ram air add much power?

I do have a naca duct on the hood....that cools the intake manifold and fuel rail.......I also have 2 vents that release hot air
from the engine bay.......a cool motor is an efficient motor
this feeds directly into the turbo the turbo sits about 12" away..
and it is not always about adding power......but yes it has a positive affect on the turbo and in turn makes it more efficient...and keeps it cool
a cool intake manifold +an efficient turbo + a good intercooler=
optimal power and good running motor
calypso 02-19-2004, 11:09 AM Lookin good, I love the dish on those rims, especially in the back. It's great that you have the power to back up the good looks.
WhiteM32 02-19-2004, 12:02 PM Looks good Pat,
Rich
TurboM3 02-19-2004, 01:47 PM can you show me a pic of the ram intake?
Thanks
Mark

275 in the rear on the E34 chassis is as wide as I should go on 18's...as she squats she will tear the tires up...even with rolled fenders
