Global is the only local dealer that carries them AFAIK.

Oh, boy...here I go.

The only two MINI dealers in Georgia are Global Imports and Hank Aaron down in Union City. My husband took delivery of his MINI Cooper from Global in October, and let me tell you, it was a very bumpy ride. My husband knew more about the cars than the sales staff, and they very nearly screwed up the order. :mad:

Even now, the service techs can't figure out what's causing the whistling noise from the dash at highway speeds, couldn't fix the door speaker buzz, and don't know what's causing the fuel pump to tick at idle. They had the car for a week to rip out the dashboard and replace the heater box in an attempt to fix the whistle - didn't work. We've had more success with a few pieces of weatherstripping tape. My husband fixed the speaker buzz himself with a piece of cardboard. And nobody at Global can tell us anything about the fuel pump tick.

And that doesn't even cover the (minor) damage the valets did to the car while it was in their care.

Thank goodness Ron at Performing Imports plans to service MINIs soon!

I don't know about service experience, but I do know that Jeff F. in sales at Global is a very decent guy.
