The following web site claim to have TV on NAV module for less than $300. Anyone has any experience with this product.

The only thing this module does is eliminate the video lockout while the car is in motion - you still need a TV tuner ($$$$)

There's a couple BMW TV tuner on Ebay right now. I got one from TVonNAV and funny thing is, I was thinking of the same method as TVfree in trying to get stereo sound for DVD input.
Like TVfree, TVonNAV allows you to listen to another audio source while in Television or the video input mode just by pressing <> button. I was thinking of splicing into the Tape source/lines and connect it to the DVD audio output. Here's how it would work:
First of all, make a dummy cassette tape - remove all magnetic tape - so that the cassette can run endlessly. Now to tune into DVD or any other video source with stereo audio:
- insert the dummy cassette into the cassette deck
- Press the Mode button to select Tape source (now in Tape source, but since there is no magnetic tape, there is no audio to be heard)
- Press Menu and select Television (now in TV mode and TV audio source)
- Tune to channel AV (now in AV input mode with audio source connected to Tape source)
- Press <> button to toggle audio to Tape source; AV video remains on screen
I think this should work. What do you think? I will definitely try it when am back at home after next week.

Is this for NAV-TV or TVonNAV?
Can you give me more info on this? I have not heard of it and I am working directly with TVonNAV.
I have confirmed with TVonNAV that they do not have any other group buy offers!
Thanks!
