FlyingHigh

...yes, very much off topic to E38's, but important in our family - Yesterday my soon to be 16 year old son got his first car - and of course that car had to be an 02 to start his driving career. We found this one stashed in our local 2002 SIG chairman's warehouse at Boeing Field. It sat dejected and ready for a new owner to heap a pile of cash it's way to get it back in fine form.

This 1971 former Chamonix and now some "whiter" version of white - affectionately dubbed "The White Car" will get a dose of TLC over the next few months and then a Father & Son drive from Seattle to Irvine in April. Please visit it's new cardomain website for more pics and the story: http://www.cardomain.com/id/surfinonluck
Someday FlyingHigh will be his - maybe in his college years. In the meantime he will need to learn how to turn a wrench (or two) and drive a stick. These cars take some TLC, but are easy to work on. A great first car and waaay better than a ricer that all his friends seem to lust after (and perhaps Bo as well, but he would never admit this to me).
