count_schemula 02-05-2004, 03:18 PM I just pulled out of the coffee shop. Heading north towards Lenox on Peachtree.
The speed limit is 35. I got my coffee in my left hand. I'm driving in coffee mode. A little extra space up front for longer braking, and an emphasis on smooth driving.
A nice tight righthand turn with a slight dip is ahead. Most people brake at 30 here even though you could hit 60mph before it got truly interesting.
I'm on the inside doing about 28. The S60 is on the outside going about 32. It's on! I get the slightest of slight revs on. I hit an even 30mph. The lady in the S60 has no idea the fate I have planned for her.
We both prepare to enter the right hander. She brakes! She brakes! She hauls her speed down from 32 to about 28 just as I goose it from 30 to about 34mph. Sensing the kill I open it up to about 36mph and take a sip of coffee, the walk is in full effectl Sweet sweet victory was mine!

Because it was an Mcoupe, this was ok..
But it was a slightly wimpy kill... Especially for "The Count":D

We were both in a curve right at, or around 30mph. If it that wasn't some hot wheel to wheel action... I don't want to know!

I was just leaving the coffee shop. I had a full mug. I had a weight penalty and still managed to deliver the crush blade!
