I got in my car this morning and heard some sort of 'alarm' sounding noise coming from the trunk. Further investigation led me to beleive that it was coming from the cd changer. However, I disconected it, and it is not the source. But it is coming from somewhere behind the changer. (around passanger side wheel well)

It's not super loud, but certainly can be heard inside the car, and I am a bit worried about my battery dying before I figure out what it is.

Does anyone know what this damn noise is, and how to stop it?

There is a servo above the battery behind the carpetting that locks your gas cap when you lock the car. I servo going haywire may sound like an alarm. It is easy to get to and you can unplug the wiring harness to see if that's the problem.
