heh, so i'm at this thing in boise Idaho called the cruise where every friday and saturday night, people go to show off their niec cars or try to pick up girls or girls pick up guys. yada yada yada. anyways, to kinda sum up the area, all u do is drive up and down these 2, 1 way streets over and over and over and over, with cross roads along the way so the traffic gets mixed up pretty easy.
so i'm at a stoplight with this Jetta thats been redlining his engine all night, and we are at a 3 lane stoplight. i'm behind the jetta in the farthes left, to the right of him is this big ..dodge...truck. dont know, it was huge though, and next to him was a brand new nissan truck.*if i remember right*
so the light turns green and everyone takes off. i wait like..half a second so that i dont rearend the jetta before i go WOT. its all pretty even except all 3 cars in front of me pull on me for like..2 seconds*i'm automatic* but after that i easly gain my ground on the jetta. i slam on my brakes to stop from rear ending him and right as i do that u can hear this really loud *BAM* like he mis-shifted or something. i left off the gas after hitting my brakes and slowing down drastically as the trucks are far gone by now. after a few seconds, u can hear his engine start to back fire and POP POP VROOM POP VROOM POP. all kinds of not good sounding pops and revs, then all of a sudden u can hear his engine roar back to life as he rev's it to get it going.. to keep it alive, he continue to revs it up and all of a sudden all this black smoke comes woooshing out of his muffler.. my friend and i couldnt help but start cracking up. must blown a cylinder or something i guess.
anyways, that and killed a ton of civics and pre 94 accords tonight, but that was my favorite race.
