There is quite a bit of performance difference between the "Lesser" models and the 850CSi and variation from beginning to end of the production run.

I took a 91 to 162MPH.

My 1992 850i Automatic with Conforti chips and Supersprint exhaust did 6.8 seconds 0-60 mph, and somewhere in the 14 sec range in the 1/4 mile. )Been a while, can't remember exactly). The manual trans models are faster by almost a second, and the rare CSi versions made in 1994 and 1995 are quicker yet.

Basically, the slowest ones are 6.8 to 60 mph.

Hp on the 91-93 models is 296, 325 ish on the later ones. The rare Csi is about 380 hp.

Yop speed stock is limited to 155 like most German cars of the era.
