Okay heres the deal, I got a 3.2 litre swap in my 95 M3. We are finishing it up tonight but i have one small problem. I kept it OBD1 and I ordered the HFM kit from Active Autowerks. It had the CAIS, 540I Air mass meter, and AA performance chip programmed specifically for that system. I found out they didnt send me the adapter for the 540i mass meter so it doesnt fit. I put my stock one back on but my chip is programmed for the 540 sensor. If i run the car until i get the adapter do i face any problems?, i was told i may blow something electronically due to voltage. I am about an hour away from starting her up again and i need to know if i am any danger. Please let me know if anyone has a clue. I dont want to screw anything up. Thanks

Jason

I would NOT do it, just be patient, its not worth screwing up your car. Im REALLY anxious to see your results. By the way, did you use the 95 intake runners or the stock 96+ intake runners with the 3.2L engine?? hope that helps

Don't do it now... wait until you get the adapter. The voltage is going to be way way off if you try it with the smaller HFM.

OBDI intake manifold i'm sure... entire oBDI system i bet, since there is a CHIP involved.
