Just bought a Alpine 7894 to replace my POS kenwood unit that died on me the other day.

My question is whether or not I still need to buy a wiring harness and antenna adaptor for the new head unit - are these 2 pieces already installed on my kenwood unit?

And if so are these the correct parts for my 1995 m3?

Thanks

1st, if you see these two pieces connected to your current Kenwood deck, you can simply reuse them and save a few bucks. However, if you dont, which means you cut up the stock harness and spliced the wires in, you'll have to do that again as well. I hope you used the harness in the Kenwood and can just reuse it.

2nd, yes, those are the correct pieces you need to order.

The head unit was installed by the previous owner....I can only hope they used the damn harness

I bought a brand new unit off ebay for about 240$ shipped. They go for anywhere from 230-270$ on ebay i think depending on condition, seller, etc
