So i will just see you guys there. Should be a blast! I am really interested to see what Tuner cars come out and which ones participate in the Drift Challenge. V Shah 11-09-2001, 05:58 PM nicholas, are you doing the driving school or just the lapping sessions? I signed up for the lapping sessions so do I have to be that early too? nicholas 11-09-2001, 08:34 PM Hey Vishal, I tried to get into the time trial, but you have to have a license or be a graduate of some driving school. And since i have only been to Jim Hall Jr.'s Kart racing school that wasn't happening. Then i thought about the driving school, but i don't want to miss out on all the other stuff that will be going on that day. So i will just be doing the lapping sessions, at least i will get the car out on the track. I believe that you have to have the car tech'd for the lapping sessions too. But, i will double check and post or PM you. nicholas 11-12-2001, 02:26 PM Nurburgring Participant Information and Requirements Nurburgring Session Schedule >> 7:30 am - Registration and Tech Inspection >> 8:30 am - Drivers Meeting >> 9:00 am - Nurburgring Session group 1 >> 9:20 am - Nurburgring Session group 2 >> 12:10 pm - Nurburgring Session group 3 >> 12:35 pm - Nurburgring Session group 4 Nurburgring Session Regulations This is a lead follow session, not a race. Subsequently there is no passing or excessive speed allowed. >> Drivers must sign track waiver at the track Vishal, looks like we have to be there early! V Shah 11-12-2001, 03:35 PM Oh man, 7:30am at Willow Springs = leaving my house at 5:30! Oh well, no traffic at that hour ;) Maybe we can meet up on the way. nicholas 11-14-2001, 02:33 PM I posted this on DTMpower and thought some of the guys on this site might benefit from this too. I just got off the phone with Paul Dickerson, one of the guys involved with the event. He said that you DO NOT need to have your car tech'd for the Nurburgring Lapping Sessions, eventhough the website states otherwise. He also said that you do not need to register early, that they will have a registration booth at the track. So for all of you who are interested in getting your car out on the track, you just have to be at Willow Springs for the drivers meeting at 8:30. Which means Vishal can get some extra sleep! :menani: Oh, and Vishal i am checking to see if i can get into the Time Trial without a special license or track school cert. If i can, are you interested? But that puts us at the track at 7:30am again!:( nicholas 11-14-2001, 03:11 PM I have been told that CEC will be bringing a fully modified AC Schnitzer E46 M3 with paul Tracy as driver.:D Lee22 11-15-2001, 01:05 AM i might be able to go, it means i have to get some sleep tho Filip75 11-15-2001, 07:31 AM everybody's going to cool places, and I'm not :( Mode 11-20-2001, 02:28 AM ok. . .we have a solid role call up at DTMP for a viewing-group caravan.
