Maybe a headsup for some. Saw an unmarked Red Mustang FHP with no visible antennas or lights on Hwy 441 just west of Loxahatchee. He had pulled over some threat to public safety; otherwise, I would never have seen him.

I hate those unmarked cars. There are millions in Miami (too many to list).

Scary, scary, scary. Usually if it's not an American car you are safe - I guess if they are using Volvos and Camrys, the world will end.

Thank goodness (well i wont go that far) that CHP here all have marked cars in one way or another. The only thing that sucks is that all the cars here are either V8 camaros or those V8 cruisers, and both are fast on the highways. But that is the least of my worries, until unmarked cars come into the scenario.

Yup... they are also using the new Mercury Maurauders. Black Undercover cars with chrome wheels... :eek: and dark as night tint.

You saw that one too....I forgot about that one.......with 19" chrome 5 star looking wheels....saw it on 95 south of sunrise....

i just saw these marauders too on i-95 by pompano, those things are fast, be careful

I can say i saw the first maruader on the turnpike about a 6months ago coming down from orlando and gota watch out for the FHP planes and helicopters there everywhere now

Maurader busted some poor guy in a 911 on the way home from work.

I travel both the turnpike and 95 most days, what makes me crazy is I never see the cops pull over the trucks flying down the hwy. including the ones that dropping gravel. Or the jack-sses that change lanes without signals. Has anyone ever been given a ticket in florida for not using their signals? I am a safe driver if the roads are resonably clear I'm going 80MPH

i got a ticket because i passed some old mofo in a car that stopped to turn in the middle of the lane so had to accelerate to pass his ass so i would crash in him or get hit by the car on the right... dont ak.. i was looking at the cop like u got to be kidding me

Actually... yes, I got a ticket for not using my signal.

You also have to watch out for a white E36 M3 with HRE's, it is a confiscated car.

Add a black Dodge Intrepid to the undecover FHP list. Saturday there was a huge speed trap all day long on I75 west bound in Weston.

I was doing the speed limit. as an Audi TT passed me not even 5mph faster than I was, an FBI-looking interceptor pulled him over. THAT and all the 10 other FHPs just pulling EVERYONE over.

The guy was parked behind a curve and when i saw him it was WAY too late... I was the ONLY car on the road... and he was parked on one of those emergency exits/openings on the median that say 'only for fhp use'...

Nope, no radar detector... but considering buying one, since.

Yep, he followed me for a good 7/8 miles, until I turned on my turn indicator to exit on SR836

After handing me the ticket and that the guy says
" Sir we only want you to get home in one piece... "
