planning on purchasing a set of koni sport adjustable shocks...

HOWEVER,
one shock has a leak..
so I plan on sending them back to koni (through a koni distributor)...
however, the stores I called said that they can only honor the warranty/free shipping etc etc, If i have a receipt from that specific store?

what gives?
if anything, I can probably search the area for members with receipts that I can maybe use?

thanks

these struts/shocks are for an e36 m3

Wow, thanks for letting me know. I never knew you could replace them when they've worn out.

yeah man,
lifetime warranty,
you just need to be the original owner
or proof of,
-receipt of the konis (with credit card etc etc)
-same credit card number (you use it to pay for the shipping, if shipping direct, then they will refund you if it is not user error that caused the problem---if it is user error, there is a 50% purchase price for a new strut/shock)
-receipt of installation (just to make sure that konis for x car were installed for x, not camry konis on an m3)
-regristration of vehicle

bilstein, koni, tokico.

etc.

hey shragon,
i called them and the above is what they told me?

should i say something else?

i.e., instead of saying im buying them used,
i can say i purchased the vehicle with it on etc etc??
