I saw on the news the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Dept. bought some BMW police bikes for patrol, they looked pretty badass. No idea on how many, or how much they cost.

Any other major cities have BMW police vehicles? I know in South Carolina near the BMW plant they have some that BMW donated.

My hometown used to use bimmer bikes. They've recently been phased out cause of maintainance and issues like that. Something about how they weren't getting good city gas mileage and that they had speed but bad maneuvarability. Now they just bought new harleys. Blah

If they really wanted to run some people down they should get GSX-R's

Bloomington cops ride harleys, they were paid for by some rich guy in the city that wanted the cops to have bikes.

A friend of mine works for the Madison, NJ Police Dept. Apparently, after a few major drug raids, they have several new unmarked Camaro patrol cars. Complete with racing wheels and Z-rated low profile tires. Tell me it wouldn't suck to get pulled over for speeding by one of those things.

Next thing you know they'll be patrolling in ultra-modded Supras. And you thought you could get away because you had a Ferarri.

Yep. We’ve had unmarked and marked Camaros here for a couple years now. I almost provoked an unmarked one a while back. :nono

I got stopped by a Tallahassee, Fl Bike cop. He had a BMW bike and he still f*cked me. I got a nice ticket on the way to my first day of college. What a way to start the new school year!
