Hi!

Been reading this forum for some while now, and when I saw there was a request for 5'er for the calendar , i thought i just add mine. Its A E34 525ia , with Rieger E39 M5 styling. Hope you like it. Now here we go:

What suspension setup are you running?

Oh, i really dont remeber :(( It was on the car when i bought it. All i've done is adding the rieger body kit , and the "stickers". It's lowered 40mm, thats all i know. I'm really most into Caraudio. Going to repaint it in a while , maybe orange. Saw a car just like mine painted silver , and it really showed off the styling alot better. Any opininons on colors ? :)

I wouldnt go with Orange if i were choosing a color it would be some sort of smoke gray, or black. Maybe Blue. Orange seems kind of outragous.

yea, orange is kind of out there. but i believe the current trend in europe is to repaint cars with wild colors.

my picks for colors would be steel grey and avus blue.

Yeah , I know orange is kinda on the edge, but I'm that kinda guy that likes attention... But most of all , the current colour on the car is diamond black metallic and , like I said, it kinda hides the well designed "lines" of the car. And even wores - the dark colours makes the dirt even easier to see. (We have LOTS of bad weather up here, i usally wash my car once a week , and it still looks horrible sometimes) I've been thinking about blue too , mostly "M5 E39 blue" But it seems kinda "dull..." Orange IMO, seems kinda "fresh" , take a look :

(Had to mention it , this guy is insane! Painted evereything, custom spoilers, with batteries behind, custom dashboard, custom M5 seats with maching colours EVEREYTING! Even custom roof!)

Estroil blur is a great color, my brother has a 98 m3 in that color and it hides dust awsome and just a couple of weeks ago I had thought of painting mine that color one day. The blue looks clean almost always and it does get plenty of attention but not too much if you know what I mean.

If you want to go bright, atleast choose red or something. That's just to wild for my tatste.


Hmmm, maybe Dakar yellow?

IMO, I think this colour is very nice. It my referece how the car will look if i paint it this colour. The pro and cons are :

Pro:
- Defently the only E34 in the aera that is orange
- Bright colour , will bring out the nice lines of both styling and car
- Might "hide" some of the dirt ??

Cons:
- Migth be wery hard to sell
- Interior is black and grey
- Lots of crappy old E30's (in BAD shape) and Opel's (Vauxhall?) going in the aera that is the same colour

I dunno man, i really dont like the orange. I would consider something else

But thats just me. I know in Europe the styles are way different.

oh, Changed my mind today. Went out crusin tonight and saw a Impreza WRX ('02 or something) Those are rare her ,exept for one that the local police has.. (!) It was metallic blue. Awesome. What do you guys think ? :)

Looks nice. However, I'd ditch the decals and debadge.

eemm.. Debadge ? Remove the 525i badge ? Or the Round BMW badge ? Sorry - i'm all new to this... If i repaint im thinking of removing the round BMW badge and fibreglass the hole that is left , like on the orange bmw. Thanks for giving me tips by the way :)

Remove the 525i badge. More stealthy.

im sorry but i really cant stand that orange. possibly a royal blue type color would look great (like Rob Levinson's car)
