Hey Guys,

My co-worker just bought a real nice RED 2000 330 and he was wondering what that place was In South FL where all the BMW guys (and the Vette Guys), hang out on Friday night. I think its either in Davie or Plantation

Just South of I595 on University Drive... I'm normally there almost every Friday at 5:30pm. I'm equidistant between the Old Navy Store and the Arby's right in the middle... right where the BMWs/MINIs park.

Cool - My buddy and I will have to make it there one night. Maybe we'll leave from work togther (We work in Boca). He'll take his car and I'll take mine. Just don't be surprised if I get there about 30 mins before him :biglaughb :biglaughb :biglaughb

A twin turbo vette? I've only heard the rumors and stories, never seen one in person. I'm sure it'll draw alot of attention at Tower Shops.

They are are rare (if you find any they will be C5's) But thats because the late John Lingenfelter (He passed on Christmas Day) was the only one who has been successful. Lost of $$$, but huge reliable power - reliable as the Sun coming up in the morning.

Next weekend I have a RoadRace event in Sebring but I want to try to make it to the Tower Shops in the next couple of weeks. My friend lives near Lake Worth so its longer haul for him but I know he would like to go.

Were you at Homestead for Chin Motorsports/PBOC event last month? Is it the Chin event that you plan on doing at Sebring on 1/17?

I saw your car on both Saturday & Sunday. Unfortunately, I never managed to share any of the same time driving that you did... I don't remember ever seeing you when I was behind the wheel. I only managed to see you when I was in the pits or something.

I had to skip Sebring this time around... maybe next time.

I was actually on the track alot, more than I've ever been. But I'm a Novice driver and because of the 2 clubs running together, Sunday was the day where Novices got most of their time. Sunday morning was great - about 1.5 hrs of driving time.

Sunday after 3pm it poured. I was caught on the track in a torrential downpourn. Couldn't see anything in front of me! I was scared sheeetless. Plus I was getting soaked but eventually I said the hell with the rules and closed them.

I wasn't on track for the down pour, but I did go out and drive some afterwards for a bit... but my tires were shot by that time they were having a hard enough time holding traction in the dry... it the wet, all attempts were futile. So after puttering around for a while trying to find a line with some grip... I brought it back in, packed up my stuff and went home.

Driving the track in the rain it a totally different experience... With good tires, it probably wouldn't have been so bad, but as soon as the rain started to come down, my windows went up.

I didn't feel like driving a pool home that night...
