I am thinking of getting some new rims. I currently have BBS RC's but I want something a little more bold and deeper dish like some nice thick 5 spokes. The best looking ones I have found so far are the AT Italia Riva's. I have never heard of them before and was wondering if they are any good. At $399 a wheel at TireRack, I figured they better be. Does anyone have any experience with this company or wheel? BTW, you can see them on an M3 at the URL below. Scroll through the wheels and select the 18" AT Italia's.

They used to go by the name ATP, but apparently the company name has changed. While the Riva's are a sharp rim, they are on the heavy side. The one piece Rivas are close to 26lb in 17". I'm not sure how much lighter the two piece rim is though.

I've seen the rim on a Laser S4 and it looked very sharp. They do look heavy though...

I really liked the way the AT Flash looked. Especially the hypersilver look. I thing that the Riva's are a little too bulky and curvy looking.

I'd be interested in buying your RCs from ya. What size
are they.

Let me know if you want to sell, I can e-mail you in private.

S--K, I don't know if I am gong to sell them yet. I might just keep them for Auto-X. But, if I do decide to sell them, I will be sure to contact you. BTW, they are 17"X8" and they are the motorsport edition. I didn't like the champagne color though so I had them polished. I think it looks a lot better.

Sure man. Just post here if you want to sell, although make up your mind soon as I will probably get the
OZ Superlegerra when they come out (it's a case of whatever deal happens to come along first).

At Italia was once known as ATP but they are changing their name to AT Italia. They do produce very nice products.

Hey luke, can you tell me how much these rims weigh? I am running 17" BBS RC Motorsport Editions now and don't want to get too heavy of a new rim.:D

Thanks

I do know that the these rims aren't exactly lightweight. The AT Italia Flash rims are 28 lbs each. I don't know about the Rivas. If you call tirerack, they will tell you exactly how much they weigh.

Thanks Luke for posting the weights and Attica for the Pics... What do you guys think? 29lbs is pretty heavy but I think they would look really good. I am also considering the new HM3's. Any thoughts???

Thanks again....

most of the wheels that were available from BMW for the '95 M3 weighed ion at about 26 lbs. The wheels for the light weight were 20 lbs.
