Ok...didn't exactly feel like spending 4-5hrs in the cold and approaching dark that night brings...along with the rain :-)

So I broke my complete wash into two parts...

Part 1 (what I've done so far tonight) is as follows:
Dawn -> Rinse -> Zaino Claybar -> Rinse -> Z-7 wash -> Rinse -> Dry (well, as well as possible to get the hose water off...the rain is quickly rinsing that off as well)

So now, I have a car with nothing on it. No wax, sealant, etc.

Part 2 (tomorrow morning):
Z-7 wash -> Rinse -> Dry -> Z-6 -> Z-2 -> Z-6 -> Z-2...etc (and yes, pictures will follow).

QUESTION - Is it safe to drive my car now only after Part 1? I really feel like getting sushi...but I don't want to destroy the work I've done thus far...

You can drive it, but just make sure that you do wash it again tomorrow morning before you proceed with applyling the zaino.

It's not a big deal if your car is left unprotected for a few hours.
