I am anxiously awaiting my set of ADR Sterling 18's.. and I'm still fighting around trying to figure out what kinda tires I want for them.. I just wanna make sure i'm on the right track here, they are 18x8.5, so to fit on my '97 M3/4 should I go with 235/40??? any feedback is much appreciated, and if anybody knows where i can get a decent deal (quickness of reception not an issue) it would be much appreciated

oh yea, they have a 38 mm offset

Go with 245/35's. They are a bit more pricier, but are well worth it. None of the wheels stick out from the tires.

So with this I'll have no rubbing issues? Also, would I have problems with what I was thinking of going with before (235/40)?... I just wanna make sure I know the range of sizes I can go with, without needing fender rolling, before I decide what I want as far as price/performance goes.

You'll have a good chance of rubbing issues with the 235/40 up front - a bit tall. 225/40 will have no issues.

I think the hot setup for this wheel size is 245/35, but you might need spacers up front.

For my part, I am running staggered 255/35R 225/40F. I'll be upsizing the front to 245/35 next time around.

Ok, I'm pretty new to the M3 world... so what are these spacers you are talking about, and how much do they cost? I'm a poor college student... so I am trying to get outta this as blingy, but cheap as possible.
