Euromeccanica is near you in Mt. Vernon.

The New York Chapter of the BMWCCA will be having the 11th annual Beach Party there on Febuary 14th.
www.nybmwcca.org upcoming events section.

Many Members drive up to use his services from all over the NY area. I have never used his services but he has a very good reputation. If you can make the event, that would be cool but either way here is a highly regarded european car specialist in your backyard.

Check out Bimmers Only in Besford Hills across from the train station. Small personalized shop run by Graham, a master BMW mechanic. Very knowledgable and a good guy.

I'd also reccomend bimmers only. Graham is a very honest mechanic and they do great work. I've had my car in there a few times for service and everything has gone smoothly.

e36m3, it's in the middle of the village of bedford hills, which is off rt. 117.

Ducky's right, if you are going north on the Saw Mill Pkwy, get off at the Bedford Hills exit and make a right and then a left at the first light. Make a right across from the train station and he tucked up on the left side. Really not visible from the street.
Good Luck

Here's a second vote for Mike Schiffer over at EuroMeccanica in Mt.Vernon. I spoke to him this morning about some work, and have been to his shop in the past, and have spoken at length with him about modding BMWs. Supposedly he's an ex-BMW Race Team mechanic. He's currently also the local BMWCCA technical Advisor. Very knowledgable and fair guy.

I've heard of Bimmers Only too, and spoken to Graham also. Can't say much beyond that. Sounds like he knows his stuff too.

XxE36M3xX,
See our post above we told you exactly where Bimmers Only was, you can try what Chris said or try The Little Garage in Long Island City. Have no experience with them but ask around.

I get my work done at RPM, good work, fair prices and they are the type of shop that will only sell you what you need.
I have been using them for all my cars, The M3, my 93 Mercedes 300E and the wife's 97 328IS. They also stand behind their work 100%.

If you stop in at RPM, tell them I sent you and you will get a 10% hike in your bill.

My car in storage over there, look for it.

This shop is in CT, and I got a lip spoiler from them. I do not know about their work but Rob was easy to deal with and I was pleased with the price.

How far is Stamford from New Milford?

Stamford-->New Milford = 46 miles, probably 90 minutes. New Milford's up above Danbury.
