I am visiting some family here in Florida for a small vacation. During my time here, I noticed that my brother's 325is really is in need of some mechanical TLC. I want to get it checked out by a reputable mechanic, but don't know anyone in the area at all and didn't have a great experience with the Import Car Store (Bimmer dealer) here in Melbourne, FL. Can anyone suggest some good places within the vicinity? Thanks!

There is a place off of Ellis Road. It's in the Industrial warehouses on the right if you are heading west. I think its called the Foreign car clinic or something. They know alot about beemers...but they ARE mechanics, so beware!!!

Yes, my window came off it's track in my old car. They put it back on for me. My sister also had some work done on her volvo there. I wouldn't say they are cheap, but they do know thier Beemers!

wow that sucks that you had a bad experiance at imported car store my freinds dad worked there for a while and he know his stuff bettere than anyone i have ever met. but he usaly worked over on the audi side. now he is working over at continental but im not sure what he is able to work on there ill ask him next time i talk to him if he would be able to work on your brothers car

Im in Melbourne and I can tell you that we really don't have any amazing Foreign car shops. Um i know theres a few of them around but they will charge you a bunch.

Try Bavarian Auto Center in Rockledge. The owner Ramone was a factory tech for 20 yrs before opening his own shop. Not really a performance runing shop but they certainly know their BMW business with regard to fixing cars. Good indy shop with very resonable rates.
