Just out of curiosity, and I’m sure this has been addressed many times before, but I’m at work and don’t have time to search old posts, What Brand and weight of synthetic oil do you use in the winter and summer months on BMWs with 90k+ miles?

I use Mobil 1 5W 30 all year 'round in my '97 M3.

Some people change to 10W30 during the summer.

Always use Mobil 1 myself...instead of the most recent change, used Castrol Syntec this time around.

okay cool..I was just wondering...since this car is my first non-domestic 6 cyl. with 90k+ I wasn't too sure if I should be using any specific weights or brands...I've used M1 10w30 in all my other cars.
