'95 540i 17" throwing stars, arrest me Red!
Live in San Jose. P-up car with new wheels on them in Mtn. View at about 10:00 am. Traffic unusually lite coming from 85 onto 280. What do I see in left reirview but a boxter and 330 getting it on in the fast lane. I grab third and punch it moving in behind them just as they pass. Boxter moves over to exit Wolfe (probably Apple employee) and I stay right on the 330's tail. He hits it at 105 and I stick him the whole way. At 125 he slides over and I pull along side him in S4 going 128+/- but wait F-ing rev limiter kicks in as I pass at 134 and flattens out. I move to D and catch 5th hold the speed and just slip by. I wonder if he knows how close he came to taking me due to the f-ing rev limiter. I have to do something about that. Anyway I slow smile and shake my fist at him and he smiles and waves. Down 5 miles we pass 17 and it opens again. Here he comes flying up on my right side while I am in #2 lane. I hit it just before he gets there and slide in behind him and stick him again up through 120-125. Traffic comes up and I have to exit downtown. Wow, what a way to start your day. Told wife about it last night excited like a kid again. She was not on my wave length. Oh well!
