Folks, I really owe it to Jonathan at Bristol Dyno to tell you all what a terrific place this is to dyno your car. He has a mix of all kinds of cars that frequent his dynojet shop. So far, hes only had a few bmws, but even so, hes very committed. For instance, when I told him about Tunnel Racing, and the T hooks they sell to use for tie-down points during dyno sessions to save our control arms, he promptly contacted them and laid in a set, just for you so that when you show up, youre protected. Hes a nice guy with a friendly, helpful attitude, with a reasonable approach to things. If you give him a chance, and youre looking for a dyno in the metro NY area, Id certainly give him a try. Bristol is about 80 miles northeast of White Plains, NY, and, believe it or not, aside from a shop I know of in NJ, not only is he the best, but hes also the closest! My pal George in Stamford, owner of Import Cars of STamford, is also putting in a dynojet, which will be functional come mid January. Thats certainly going to be closer, and I would recommend him to, when its finished being setup.
