hmmmmm
thats sounds good......since I am in ft.laud picking up the trail as you guys go north would be right up my alley......rather than going south into miami only to head north past my location........

Considering the event is from 11am-5pm, we may want to reconsider the departure time.

You should meet up at 930am and clearly state DEPARTURE time at 10am sharp. that makes the ETA 1pm

ETA 1pm.....Who do you think you are talking to? Right Pat? :evil2 :biglaughb :biglaughb

Departure: 10am
Sunrise: 10:15am
Racerock: 11:30

:biglaughb :biglaughb :biglaughb

On a serious note though, I agree with the departure time being 10am SHARP .

Yes Carlos but not everyone has turbos, nor want to kick off the new yr with FHP!

Seriously though I think 3 hrs is reasonable given it will be a caravan from Miami and there will be people lagging.

Regardless of having a turbo or not, if the people of the caravan drive "smart", we can cut down on the travel time by at least 1/2 hour. Also, the FHP can be avoided if the caravan drives as a "team". Hopefully everyone has a walkie-talkie/talkabout and maybe some will have a V1, which should reduce the risk of having the FHP roll out of some underpass. Speed with intelligence (8+ yrs without a speeding ticket here......no use of radar detectors either).

How about nextels? I got one :)

Or if everyone wants to go organized and get walkie-talkies etc.... that would be awsome. I think we should keep in touch constantly in the trip.

Last time Eroc3 was the only one without a radar detector. The second the Escort 8500 yelled FHP the M5 and the 330Cic braked..... and Eroc3 just flew by at 90mph.

No one was made a victim.... for our sake :)

I agree, and I can certainly trust you as ive been in the car with you before. My concern if some "new" people show up and get tempted to start doing stupid stuff within present company. I've got a V1 and also speed intelligently, I was just pointing out for the wellfare of the entire group id hate to see the day start off on a bad note. I'm looking forward to having a good time

TOTALLY AGREE.

I am of the STRONG opinion that if anyone is driving recklessly and making any dumb driving moves where they are putting other drivers at risk, then the rest of the group will make sure that person catches a severe beating :biglaughb

Oh... this is going to be a long day. Leave Castle Motorsports at 9:30, I'll pick you guys up on the turnpike. I'll be sitting on the side of the road waiting for you guys (you better not be late).

My only problem is, I have to be back in Miami by 8 :(

I'll pick up the Tpike at I595... I'll leave my house to put me on I595 an Tpike at 9:40. Once I hit Tpike, I'll be either sitting on the side of the road or doing 45 in the right lane until they catch up.

Sounds good.....

I'm still unsure whether I'll show up with my car or not.... I'm most likely take it to a mechanic and tell him to fix it as my schedule this week is insane ( back to school with 3 tests and a science fair project on wed/thu >.< )

Oh well.... whatever the costs to show up at the Winterblaze

Everybody should arrive at Castle Motorsports with a full-tank of gas... this way we can minimize stopping. I know I can make Orlando on one take of gas if I drive conservatively... so I'd imagine I have to stop for gas once.

A lot......

But 10am is too late for me. I'm trying to organize a mini-caravan of 5-6 cars to leave at 8am. If we leave at 10am.... we will get there at least by midday..... at the very least if ppl do like 80 on the highway.... not incluiding any stops.

Since it's a 4 hour trip, I want to get the most out of it, so I plan on getting there BEFORE midday.

By the way.... anyone with Nextels here PM me their Private ID and I'll reply with mine, just so I can keep in touch with you guys on Saturday.

Thanks,
Erick

Anyone from Miami that is interested in leaving earlier, there will be a small caravan leaving at around 8-8:30am.

More will join as we pass by their exits.... but it should be a 5-6 car caravan.

If anyone is interested, IM me at rwdrift in AIM.

The meeting spot will be at the publix plaza in NW 107th AV with NW 58th ST.

Hope to see you guys on the road. We will have a MiniDV camera to tape some road action.....

I'll see you guys there!
