cameltoe? hahaha, that's what i wanna be if this pilot thing doesn't work...professional laytex/paint clothes maker :D (except i don't do dudes....chicks only :P )

uberpanzer:
-the s14 crank does work, but i hear that it has to be shortened (lenghth wise....i think at the oilpump sproket area) to fit in the m10 block. and u'd have to get custom pistons & rods.
-the oil filter housing (which has a built in thermostat to use with an oil cooler)
-the starters are said to fit the m10 (as well as being smaller in size...which is nice for installation & removal, especially if u have an 80-83 320i)
-head gaskets are nearly identical (some coolant & oil passages differ slightly)
-and it's possible the chain tensioner pistons may be similiar (i'm not quite sure about this one tho).....altho, if that is the case, that means chain tensioners from m50/2, s50/2, & 740i's should also work in the m10 since they work in the s14.

the starter does bolt in, is lighter, smaller, and more powerful. Faster cranking

Are those four or five-bolt wheels? If so, do you remember where the five-bolt conversion and new wheels were purchased from?

Yea that was in the restore process, that rear valence was a bitch we tried to cut/shave/bondo and what not but to no-avail. The body shop had an english wheel thank god and someone who actually knew how to use it. So they just cut it completly off and made a new one from scratch:eek:
Heres one more with the old Rotaspeed wheels 205/16/40, and yes the offset was correct, diving boards, and 22 year old paint:buttrock

sorry crappy pic again...

how'd you find out about the testicle thing?

There's no secret club, just have to be willing to spend the bucks (like Blitzed did, I'm assuming). Or make the right friends. I purchased my MiM 15x7's and Exim 14x6's from a good friend and fellow E21 gentlemnen in Colorado. The wheels are out there... you just have to really make an effort to find them. The roadfly classifieds are good for that kind of stuff.

dammit, i may be joining the single-nut club when i get my rims. :( LOL

oh yeah, here's another random pic (not quite the car, but it WILL be a part of the car soon :D )

cj, they're ground control coilovers (7" 350lbs front & 8" 250lbs rear)....not quite true coilovers like nic's LEDAs since they're the sleeve-over type. they will be going on with a set of koni adjustables :)

attila, dam, that's one extensive paint job....hehehe, wuts up w/ the license plate on the car in the 2nd pic? (lol, been driving around sporting the primer color? :D )
