Navigation screen removal to install Aux-In

I am having a bit of difficulty removing the Nav screen in order to get to the required cabling to install the BMW Aux-In connector.

I have already removed the center console and all of the dash trim. I am having a problem removing the center dash vents and the climate control display/button unit.

It seems that there are a few screws behind the climate control display/button unit that need to be removed to be able to take out the nav screen.

Anyone have a DIY for removing the climate control box and center vents? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,
-Scott

I wish I could remember how they got in there. I believe you have to start at the bottom of the panel. Pulling out the AC controls and all. Plus the trim panel has to be removed as I believe there are screws behind there. I don't remember them removing the AC vents, but it's been a while now...
