who is a member in the new jersey area bmwcca? Is there one in northern new jersey? Is it worth it to join (other than the bmw dealership discount and the roundel subscription)? thanks.

There are several members in the North NJ area. As a member you will have access to goto the NY auto show for free, go to BMW NA for meetings and be able to go to for NJBMWCCA Driving schools, tech sessions, social events, autocrosses and rallys. The NJ chapter has numerous tech advisers, saving diagnostic dollars and maybe even afford you a helping hand with repairs.

It is worth the $35 a year no doubt.
