It's been a full two weeks now since I've actually taken my car out of the garage. Last time that I drove it was right after I changed the oil and put in a bottle of Techron. Well, this morning I had an early appointment(7:30) near the airport so I decided to move my wifes 530 and pull my car out of the garage for the drive. What a blast! For some reason when I merged onto 400s the car felt like a total animal! (By the way my only mods are ECIS intake and AA exhaust.) I can only imagine what a supercharged or turbocharged car would feel like in this weather.. This all may be somewhat trivial to you guys, but I just moved here from LI, NY and my car is usually down and out for the winter right now... I only wish that I didn't have to sell it/trade it in..:( Thanks for reading my rambling..

right now my car has to sit outside until I move into my new house (next weekend) and it HATES the cold mornings upon start up until it warms up (about 15 min) the damn thing sounds worse than a diesel.... it HATES cold weather

if your car really takes 15 min to warm up, it's time for a thermostat. If you're just exagerating, and it's really just 2 or 3 very cold minutes that feel like 15, then ok. :stickoutt

yeah...this weather definately has a noticeable difference i think...I can tell that above 6000k where my car usually feels like it's power is lost, it pulls all the way to redline...I love it!:) I want to drive when it's like 20 degrees in late dec and early jan...that'd be even better i think.

Unless you've got a stuck-open thermostat -- then it sucks.

I hear ya there. Once it dropped below 50 the temp would never rise above the blue. I had a 45min commute with no heat in January.

the temp needle usually takes about 10 min @ idle to reach its happy spot... with some light driving ~ 5 min

At the cost of freezing every morning! Which really isn't a bad thing...better than sweating to me!

You can fix being cold, its harder to fix being friggin hot and humid.

On other note, you can even tell a deeper note comin from my car :)
