I hate when people say they are going to do something and they don't.
I had my car in for service a while ago and I asked my service advisor to upgrade my LCM to at least version .37 so I could install the new '04 LED taillights in the near future.
I picked my car up and I was told the software was successfully installed... no problem, no charge. Without being able to check for myself, I took their word on the fact of the matter and was done with it from there.
Well... due to a few unfortunate delays, I was only able to pick up my LED taillights the other day. I went to go install them and guess what happens...
LAMP OUT warning.
That means they did not install the software as they said they did. Now tomorrow I have to call up my service advisor and give him my $0.02 and see what he says... If he fixes the problem, no hassle, then I'll just write it off as bad luck. If he gives me a hard time about it... well, we'll see what happens.
