I've read people recommending carpet spot remover with a tooth brush to clean up steering wheel stitching. Has anyone given oxyclean a go? It's gotten out some nasty blood stains  for me before. I thought maybe it'd work well on the stitching.

Not sure how kind that stuff would be on the leather though... Would seem impossible to NOT have it contact the leather of the wheel.... :dunno

The steering wheels on M cars are stitched with tricolor thread that matches the colors of the ///M logo. Over time, the thread can become dirty.
