Heavy weight Mobil 1 gear oil is what is in mine right now. I'll be switching to Redline on my next oil change.

Fill the diff up until if starts to trickle out of the fill hole. Atleast that's what I do.

0.9l I use Amsoil with LS additive on mine. Regular gear oil 75W90. But both Redline and Amsoil have the 75w140 available.

Might reduce 320i hp at the wheels from 90 to 85 though :)

I used Redline, filled it as much as I could before it came out the fill hole, I used a flashlight to see it...

I got Castrol syntec GL5 75w90 gear oil, filled until came out of the upper fill hole. never tried red line, is it good? I change it every 10k miles..... I work at a repair shop, so I abuse the priviledge of free oil and filter, coolant, gear oil, fuel filters......,lol
