All the older BMWs used the 5 mph bumpers and the anodizing will take on a cloudy look after about 18 years.

I bought a kit from BMP, about $60, to cure mine.

It took about 2 hours with beer breaks to do the rear bumper.

I had people ask how much the new bumper was so it is pretty good. It is just a cleanup and a coating and it has been on for 1 year and no issues yet.
