Please help I live in Kentucky and bought a car from a club member in TN but when he did the bill of sale it wasnt notarized. I only paid 3600 for the car but they are trying to charge me taxes on 7500!!!!! I have been driving with no plates or registration for almost two weeks now. The seller pretty much told me I was on my own.....:(
I have a bill of sale but it needs notarized in TN and they said they would accept a fax copy of the bill of sale??seems kinda stupid...but I really need some help.

Are you saying you need to find a notary public in Tennessee? Try posting to the Southeast regional forum instead. Or ask a moderator to move this thread. :)

Are you sure it needs notarized in TNN? I think usually you can get a notary from any state to notarize a bill of sale. Also, do you know anyone in the military? I think anyone in the military can legally notarize someting for you (I have the actual law on this at home, I can get it if it will help)

I dunno I guess it would make sense to have it Notarized in TN but I could try....
