Ever since we got our own forum, this place has really taken off!! Slow down, people... I can't even keep up with the pace of the posts anymore.

With that out of the way, I was planning on getting together a final meet before the end of the year/holidays hit and people, like myself, head out of town. It would just be something low-key and social, like Three Dollar and Five Seasons were.

Anywhere but Andretti -- seems there's a new "Let's Go To Andretti's" post every day.

So, people, tell me where you want to go this time. Let's hear it...

i don't care. i kinda like andretti but since you said don't suggest that..... i dunno.

Andretti's is cool -- in moderation. Apparently, many people here don't agree with me and would gladly visit there every night of the week. That's not a problem at all, because I'd gladly visit the batting cages every night of the week during softball season.

My point is, there's about one meet a week there, so I'm looking for something different. Anyways, I'm looking for a social meet, rather than a do-something meet. Ya heard?

I'm up for a meet. It needs to be soon though, because finals are looming just over the horizon and I'm leaving town right after that and won't be back until April sometime. Would be good to see all you fools again.

If we go someplace that serves alcohol, I vote for a place that isn't overpriced and cold as hell. :D

I'm down for a little sumthin'. Since I'm in between sports seasons, my weekends are actually pretty free - maybe something on a Sat. night?

We've had little-to-no success on our Friday/Saturday night outing attempts, so I'm in favor of a weekday affair.

Three-Dollar is fine by me.

Argh - you yuppies and your $5/pint beer.

What about Taco Mac/Summit that's right across the street from the first place we went to($3 Cafe). They've got tons of beer, and it is reasonably priced. The food is pretty doable as well.

Sure -- Taco Mac/Summit.

That's fine.

I'm really up for most anything, except Andrettis. ;)

Geordie, UGA's never going to beat LSU with atrocious spelling such as that.

But I guess you'll keep trying...

I'm in the process of trying to get tix to the game for me and my roommate, who is an avid LSU fan.

I'm not even trying, cos it's Christmas & I'm broke anyway...

We'll just watch it and have good food & drink at Gumbeaux's.

If you don't get tix, wanna join us?

I'd be down but as Jacob said, finals are looming so unless its this Friday or Saturday theres no way in hell I'll be able to make it... I won't be back until January, but I'll have my car with me  I'll have to make some rag tag gtg the weekend of the 9th so I can act all cool and stuff with my car. :D

And where the hell are you going until April Jacob? Co-opping?

Where is this Gheumbeaux's of which you speak?

If we don't go to the game, we'd definitely be looking for a bar & grill place with TVs to watch the game.

Damn, that sucks. I forgot that Finals were next week. I wonder if we can throw something together for tomorrow night? Hmmm...

Also, Jacob is studying abroad next semester, so he'll be in New Zealand, Australia, Japan and Iceland. Well... probably not Iceland, but you can imagine what it'd be like if he was.

Haha, Geordie might know of Gumbeaux's.

It's out here in Douglasville aka Satan's a**hole, but I know the owner, head chef, & manager (all from Louisiana, as am I), worked weekends there for a while - still do off & on.

It's a hella good cajun restaurant with good prices, great dishes, and good beer selection. It's definitely worth the trip if you don't go to the game.

Lemme know something when you know something...

Hmmmm... that could be a logistical nightmare. With the quantities of alcohol that will most-assuredly be consumed, the return trip would not be possible.

Unless... ... yes... YES... YES!

Ryan offered to be DD this weekend. Muwahahahahaha!

Our plan might be complete.

Sounds good. Gimme a call later on this week. My cell is 678.522.4330, I'll give you directions/details.

Anyone else down for some game watching and beer drinking?

How about we try for Friday around 5:30-6pm-ish? Right after work/school? Down some suds to ease the pain and all - considering my Dead week has been anything but Dead... Jeez, and then I have finals to look forward to.

I'm going to set this school on fire... I'm this close....

Neighbors in the Highlands had outrageous beer prices, and you could only sit outside.

Good thing I beat Aaron up and made him buy me some Silver Bullet! :)

Shit.

Did I pay for all your beer that night? Assclown. :stickoutt

I paid at Rocky Mtn, too!

Heh. Whaddayaknow? An LSU fan making fun of a UGA alum's spelling? Whowoodathunkit?

;)

At any rate...no go for me. Was in ATL last night and will be there again this weekend. Too much driving.

It would've been more efficient to just stay in Atlanta.

You could've come to the GTG then.
