My wife had an unfortunate incident with a curb the other day in our Jetta and proceeded to take out a decent chunk of metal where the wheel meets the tire. Also ripped of a one inch section of the tire's rim guard. They are the stock 17's and they had previously gone 3 years without even a scratch :( Anyway just wondering if there are any reputable wheel repair shops nearby...I'm in Kailua.

Of course Freddy's is not in Kailua. In case you and your wife are not familiar with the island yet here is some directions. Ilaniwai is off of Ward ave. Take the Kinau off ramp (H1 heading east) not sure about the number. Take your first right (Ward ave) keep going about 2 miles. I think the 5th or 6th traffic light will be Queen st. slow down Ilaniwai will be the next right.

Better directions. Ilaniwai Street is 1 block before Exotic Nights. :)

Actually, take the right turn AFTER the stoplight at Ward and Queen. Go past the ProPark or Apcoa parking lot and Freddys is right here on the right!

yep Freddy's can polish lips. generally when he fixes curbed aftermarket rims he will remove all the clear coat and polish the lip of the rim.

I keep hearing they are closed and the lot looks like it has been cleaned. I was on Ilaniwai last week and it even looked like they were going to pour a slab.
