Here's the plan so far.

Saturday, December 13th, at LOEW'S CINEPLEX@ 2pm

Address for Loew's:
1021 Route 22 East
Mountainside NJ, 07092

if it's during the day i think short hills will allow it, but it'll be packed cause we're entering prime shopping season.

I have changed the date to Sunday. Sunday seems to fit better with everyone I have asked so far.

We will meet at short hills, normal spot and if we do have to move then we'll transfer to livingston mall, which is 5 min. away.

So everyone should go to short hills first and if you don't see anyone then try livingston.

why not just meet at Livingston mall? it's larger, has more parking and they won't arrest you for trespassing or tow your car without a warning - such as short hills will do.

Tom, the incident was some a**hole with an E30 M3 that almost hit a customer in short hills while trying to show off how poor of a driver he was.

he nearly killed her.

afterwards, she contacted mall management and threatened them with some legal action, since then NO collection of cars is allowed since mall security has been authorized to ticket and tow all loiterers.

they won't give you a warning, they'll simply show up with the millburn police, block off the exits from the structure and impound every car and ticket every person on the deck.

as it stands right now: you would be a fool to go to short hills mall for any type of meet. if you can't find Livingston mall with simple directions (it's literally right down the street from short hills mall) then you shouldn't be driving.

OH SHIT!! Good thing you told me that. I knew that we were kicked out but I didn't know that the situation was that serious.

Better to be safe then sorry we should move this to Livingston.

SO PLEASE NOTE:
DUE TO PREVIOUS ACTIONS AT SHORT HILLS MALL THE MEET ON DECEMBER 14TH WILL BE AT LIVINGSTON MALL !!!

Sorry for the mix up.

Hey Derrick!! How is the S60R treating you??!! Feel free to bring some people along. The more the merrier.

Hey Mike, you might want to change the top also. :D
Some people don't scroll all the way down.

The S60R is treating me as well as it possibly can at the dealer...
It arrived on Monday, and I can't pick it up yet. I have to wait for several things.

1. Loan Check (3-5 days in the mail)
2. Insurance Package (New Insurance 2-5 days in the mail)

So hopefully this weekend, if not then definitely by next weekend.

One good thing though..
They fixed all the speed bumps at school!!

I've been registered since Monday..so that would make 3 days. Yes 3 WHOLE days. :redspot:

And yes, I have a lot of time on my hands. Enough to not only plot out the ways to get there, but I drove the directions to make sure they were correct!

Actually, I just went to the website for Livingston Mall and copied the directions..

Of course he's got a lot of time on his hands. People at SHU always have a lot of time. Like anyone pays attention in class. I'm sure that post was written in one of his business classes.

hahahahahaha

So far we have a great turnout. I'm getting a great response here, and on DTM the people are lining up too. This should be one crazy meet. I also posted on the M3 Forums but I haven't gotten any responses yet. oh well.

YET ANOTHER CHANGE OF PLANS!!!!

The date is still staying the same. It's this Sunday at 2pm. We are just moving the location. Everyone on the other forums were bitching that the mall's are gonna be mad busy, especially on a Sunday. I can totally understand that. So here is the new meeting place.

Loew's Cineplex
1021 Route 22 East
Mountainside NJ, 07092
908-232-6587

This is right next to JMK BMW!! You can't miss it. So if anyone is asking themselves, "ok, so where are we meeting?" Just look at the first post. I will have everything there.

Thanks a lot guys and this is gonna be great!

From the people I talked to everyone wants to do a Pre-Christmas get together. I don't think it's going to be that bad. That parking lot is very large, and the majority of people will be shopping. I checked out the lot yesterday as a matter of fact (Sunday) and it wasn't all that bad. Enough for a group of bimmers to park. :D

;) Don't worry, we should be fine. :)

Yin Lun

oh man..you mean I gotta do that again?

okay. to be simple.

If you know how to get to the following highways, you're fine. If not, let me know. These will be the SIMPLEST directions. If you want to take other ways or need more specific directions, let me know.

Rt 22
Take it East if coming from Bridgewater/Watchung area. You'll see BIG Loews on right side of 22. If you see JMK BMW or Target, you've gone too far.

If coming from Newark/Hillside area, take it West. You will go past the theatre on the opposite side of the highway. Go to the next light (should be first light actually, Exxon at intersection), take the jug handle, and go back to the theatre. :dunno

Rt 24
Take it South towards 78. Take 78 East. Get off at the FIRST exit towards Springfield. Go Straight and follow the road for about 5-10 minutes. You'll see an onramp for 22. Take 22 West, and follow above directions.

Rt 10
Find your way to either 287 or 24. If you're on 10 and you don't know how to get to any of these other highways..you've got a problem.

Rt 78
If coming from Western NJ, take 78 East, to exit 49 I believe it is. The first exit after the exit for Rt 24. Remember to bear right when the highway splits. Then refer to Rt 24 directions.

Rt 287
Take 287 South if above exit 19. Take exit for 78 East. I believe that's exit 19 actually. Follow Rt 78 instructions.

If below exit 19, decide which is closer, parkway or 78. Take one of those, and follow the directions listed under those :D

Rt 80
If West of 287, go to 287 and follow 287 directions.

If East of 287, take 80 East to rt 280. Take 280 to Garden State Parkway, and follow GSP directions.

Rt 280
Take 280 South (East?) if not coming from Newark/Jersey City area. Take it to the Garden State Parkway, and follow GSP directions. If coming from Newark/Jersey City area, go North (West?) and take the Garden State Parkway and follow GSP directions.

Garden State Parkway
Take Garden State Parkway North or South accordingly. Take exit 140 if going north. This will put you on Rt 22 East, you need to make a U-Turn to head West. Go to the first traffic light (10-15minutes, exxon at intersection.) make a U-Turn. You will travel about 2 minutes back on Rt 22 East, and Loews will be on your right hand side, if you see Target/Taco Bell/Wendy's, you've gone past it.

If going south, take exit 140A. Head 22 Wast, and follow directions above.

New Jersey Turnpike
If you're coming from the Turnpike; head towards exit 11. Merge onto Parkway, take it North. Follow GSP directions.

From Holland Tunnel. Take 1/9 to 78. Take 78 to Garden State Parkway, get off almost immediately to exit 140A. Follow Rt 22 West Directions.

Again, these are very general...I know. But I believe this will help a lot of people out. If you need more specific; ask.

By the way guys, they're opening up a new Hooters in Union on Rt.22 (used to be Fuddruckers)...should be open by early next year.

they closed down muddfukers? :(

Let me dig up her number, I believe she's in Coral Springs somewhere but do you really want the headache? You know what they say about redheads.

Al, don't worry man, I'll take you to hooters....just remember, it's your birthday that day! :D

make right after new years, you'll get a larger crowd since everyone's holiday duties are taken care of.

the 10th - saturday, hooters in wayne on rt23 (next to willowbrook mall). big parking lot and I doubt they'll mind us rolling in since they also run HUGE bike meets there too.

figure around 2-ish.

it's about three weeks from now, I'll start a new thread.
