LOL Veruca as in Salt - the original purpose. I have a bad habit of saying that I want things. Like "I want an M Roadster nowwww!"

So, do all of the BMW owners get together? I want to say I saw some people gathering at the Starbuck's on Johnson Ferry a while back.

Also, do you guys have a dealership that you prefer? We have attempted to do some business with United in Alpharetta twice recently and were unimpressed. I'm pretty anal about the car so I have high expectations. ;) There are a couple of things I want to get looked at and am hesitant to take it anywhere before I hear the consensus. The car is a lease takeover - that is why I don't already have a dealership established.

I absolutely love the car and am more an more impressed each day. Glad to be joining you guys, brake dust and all! :)

BTW - My husband and I are thinking about taking the M up to the N. GA mtns tomorrow (weather permitting) if anyone is interested in tagging along.

Regarding dealerships, if you post a thread you'll get a dozen different answers. But in general, I don't think anyone is absolutely impressed with any of the dealerships here. There are, however, some fantastic indy shops in the area (especially near you).

That's what I was afraid of. That really sucks, it's a shame that a city as large as Atlanta - with such a large population of people who have nice cars - doesn't have a BMW dealer that has a reputation for taking care of their customers.

I've dealt with Global & Hank Aaron (which both sucked), but United in Roswell has been absolutely exceptional in every regard. They take extremely good care of both of us. :conf

Maybe you had some bad luck of the draw. No place is perfect, and sure, there are a couple of folks there who don't quite see things my way. But I'd say go up the chain of command, and talk to some different people than the ones who disappointed you. You might get better results.

I think SGTSPD is like myself, we do most of the work on our cars ourselves.

terry takes his to the dealer. if theres something I can not handle I have not found anyone I would trust in Columbus so i take mine up to Thomas at AUTOFAB motorsports. its a great shop with a healthy bunch of bimmer enthusiast like ourselves so he is who i would recommend despite the shop is 1:45 min away from us.

I think I have seen u around but I was in my wife's cayenne and i pulled up next to you at a light b4 Benning but you were not interested in a convo.

I also saw a young female in a white 03+ E46 M3 exiting 80W onto 185-S headed downtown but she was not Interested in anything other than the phone she was on but I have seen a few and met a few in columbus
