View Full Version : Headcount for Installfest
BimmerDawg 11-21-2003, 09:43 AM I know we had a list going in the other thread, but I'm sure that got lost in all of the incoherent posts (Jimmy ;) )...so, who's going to be there, and what are ya installing? Please do the usual copy + paste, and remember to keep Ron at the end of the list using size 1 font. Thanks!
Also, let us know if you have a lift, jackstands, or any "special" tools, i.e. stuff other than what's found in a normal toolbox.
One more thing...if you're not going to be working on your car, park it in the street to allow for those perfoming work space to do it...
1. Geordie--Nothing. Which means nothing can be broken. :laugh
2. Anna--Rotors, pads, clears and intake.
Ron17 11-21-2003, 09:51 AM I'm not posting what I'm doing again. Put me down for "stuff."
And if anyone has a drill and bits... I'm gonna need you to go ahead and bring that. M-kay? Greeeeaaaaat.

It's for my JTD Underpanel, which I'll undoubtedly have to "customize." So, I'm not sure what size I'll need.

I'll be there, and I'm making Geordie my flashlight/tool bitch... and he'll LIKE IT.
Aaron, I can bring a drill and a few bits to get ya handled on the underpanel issue. It takes about 30 seconds to enlarge the holes on just one half of the panel to make installing that much easier.
Oh yea, I'm planning on bringin' some BIER! Any cheap suggestions? Right now it's lookin' like the Silver Bullet, although if someone throws in a few bucks, I'll go for a 24 pack of Rolling Rock... which equals just awesome.
BimmerDawg 11-22-2003, 12:19 PM This just in...I'm installing spark plugs and a micro filter! Woo!
punknamedjimmy 11-22-2003, 12:27 PM man. i wanna see the e30.
grrrrr.
markb50k 11-23-2003, 01:55 AM Im involved in a major production install at my job so I wont be able to make it. but alas, i do this for you, so you can switch cell service and keep your number. work sucks but it pays.
zeit00 11-23-2003, 01:23 PM Won't be installing Ball joints but I am coming.. see ya!
Kyle K. 11-23-2003, 02:36 PM I take it this festival of installing has already begun? Damn I suck...
zeit00 11-23-2003, 07:43 PM Yea.. It was fun... Some wrenching.. a lot of BSing.. ;) Hows the car run Ron?
Ron17 11-23-2003, 09:03 PM Runs well. Still stinks though -- guess the cats are going bad.
JTD Underpanel, Rogue TMs, O2 Sensor and Axxis Ultimates
Not bad for a day's work...
punknamedjimmy 11-23-2003, 09:07 PM WHAT IS ANNA'S CAR DAMMIT.
Bremsen 11-23-2003, 09:18 PM Should we keep Jimmy hangin?
Ron, did you get the underpanel in? Give the car a few days, it'll stop smelling (mine did after about one tank).
Ron17 11-23-2003, 09:19 PM It's a 19xx xxxxx xxxxx 3xxix.
punknamedjimmy 11-23-2003, 09:30 PM fuck :complain
zeit00 11-24-2003, 11:11 AM Its a BMW right?
Sparc_it 11-24-2003, 11:18 AM yup...its green too, possibly the cause of jimmy's jealousy ;)
Ron17 11-24-2003, 12:42 PM Oh... yeah, Ryan... I did get the underpanel installed finally. It was a PITA, though.
