I saw your thread, and I had to say hello. Yea, I don't suppose there's a lot of Bimmer clubs down there in sweet little Gainesville; I'm down there ALL the time, and I see a few, but nothing like up here in Atlanta. My mom lives right off Newberry Rd, so I should be down there for Thanksgiving.

You should make a trip up here sometime; a lot of people venture from Tennessee and Alabama just to run the drives in the North Georgia Mountains. It's a real screamer!! Since Florida is so damn flat, it's a bit hard to get some of the rushes that we get on the Mountains. Anyhoo, keep trying to recruit, I'd love to have some fellow Bimmer drivers to chill with down there.

Enthusiast here... but FL is just so freakin' huge, it's like 3 states in one... North FL, Orlando and South FL in one.

Fast5, I usually go through GA around Christmas since my family has a house in eastern NC. This year I'm not going though. Next time I would like to attack the mountains, but considering that the house is at the end of a steep gravel hillclimb, taking the Z3 may not be the best idea.

I'll check out Bay Bimmers.

I'm a florida enthusiast... I like florida I use to live there, great state.

Once in a while, though I haven't been driving around town that much recently since I don't use campus parking. When I do go out for a spin, I usually take the back roads outside of Gainesville. Do you ever attend the Wednesday night test and tune sessions at the local drag strip or Solo II AutoX events at the local test track? If not, you should try making it out sometime.

I don't live in Florida. As a matter of fact, I'm quite far from Florida. But I went on a cruise two summers ago, and it left from Miami. I have to say, Florida is a very nice state. We stopped by Orlando, Daytona Beach, and stayed in Miami a couple nights. South Beach is really cool. Ocean Dr. seems to be the happening place. There were many nice cars on that street (Vipers, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, tons of Escalades and other SUV's with huge wheels etc.).

sure thing, I live over on the westadie, but I do some trail riding at Hannah Park (just around the corner from Mayport).

West Palm Beach here, only in the summer though. Down anytime in the summer for friendly runs/cruises.
