How do i remove the backrest of the back seats so i can access the rear strut towers?

have to remove the bottom of the seat first. then there are 4 bolts (two on the outsides and two that are behind the middle armrest). after that just pull it up and slide it out.

I always removed the headrests before I popped the back seat out. Just pull up real hard and they'll fly out. The plastic fasteners need 1/4 turn to pop loose on the plastic collars.

Don't overtorque the nuts behind the armrest, you'll pull the studs out. I have a trophy stud somewhere to remind me not to rip out the other one.
