hey guys... damn what can i say, the Hennarot beast has a weakness.. lol

i failed emissions pressure test where they pinch off the tube to the charcoal canister and send pressure thru the fuel system from the gas cap.. they sad its leaking and a hose needs to be fixed somewhere.. any ideas where to get that hose?

im dropping the tanks tomorrow and seeing whats rotten, but ill then need a source to buy the hoses from

TIA,

Matt

i think this is the same problem as Nexus, you can use any vacuum/ fuel hose to the charcoal canister, you can buy at pepboys/napa/autozone, etc

instead of dropping the tanks, remove the rear seat, lift the inspection cover for the fuel pump, and you can check the hoses from inside the car. usually they get dry rotted, the one that is leaking might be a vent line.

Are you sure its just not a faulty gas cap? This was the case for me a few years back and 6 bucks solved the issue... Just my 2psi:pimpflash

im pretty sure its not just the gas cap tho because i smell gas after i fill up a full tank, park it in the garage, and then come back into the garage the next morning. :dunno

While mine's an E36, I did have a simmilar issue. It was busted O-ring on one of my fuel pumps.
