Spencer 11-08-2003, 02:55 PM I know Rob from Mpact was running a 18x9 w/ 265/35-18's all around. I honestly don't think you NEED to go any bigger than a 9" all around unless you are going for the "look". You can fit a 275 on a 9" with no problem. B.Watts 11-08-2003, 05:19 PM Why would you need a 9.5 or 10? We run 10" on a race car, but we have wider front fiberglass fenders and we still had to cut the fender opening larger because the car is so low. cpt97M3 11-09-2003, 01:41 AM Originally posted by BMWRacerITS Why would you need a 9.5 or 10? The top 3 M3's at the SCCA solo 2 nationals this year were all running 10" front wheels. Gary's car I think has 11's or 12's in the rear. I think Tunnells has 10.5" rears. They all have flared fenders. Not sure if anyone has any good comparison data to 9" wheels, so I can't say if you _need_ them or not, but I am sure a lot of people want them! Chris |
