Hey! When is the show and shine at Bav Auto? I can't seem to link to Blown's posted URL... Hmm... I guess I can check out their site.

Well, I hope to make it there, and to meet up with you guys!

Thunberg: Though I haven't been to one either, I hear that BavAuto runs a good event!
What to expect? LOTS OF BMW'S

What to bring? A clean and shiney car!

Damn! I just check out the site (and saw your post Ron, thanks).
Oct 7 eh? I'm going to be away for a wedding that weekend! :(

Just my luck. I guess I'll have to wait for the next East Coast event somewhere. Though, a friend of mine mentioned something was going on in the Pallisades next month. 21st maybe?

Almost time to get out of here and go get my car from the $tealer. 4 months later, they still have fixed my A/C. They just found the problem, and want $900 to replace the condenser!
Sorry, not the right place to vent, but needed to get that out.

good luck with the $tealer....it's funny how they earn that name.

can't you skip the wedding, this will be so much more fun?!

Ron you are tempting me... nah I can't skip the wedding. One of my best buds. Not quite sure why he chose to have his wedding on a Sunday, but hey, it's his wedding right?

Hmm... the wedding is in Maine, at 4pm... maybe I could make the 2 hour drive down, change in the car later... or show up to the "show" and shine in a suit...

I was in MA today and so drove up to Portsmouth, NH and stopped by Bavarian Autosport to buy some fuses and 100w H1 bulbs to do my Ray Chung 100w conversion ;).

They gave me 55w bulbs by mistake and I didn't figure it out until after they closed (I stood there amazed that there was no perceivable difference between 100w and 55w). As I was standing in the parking lot trying to jam the cover back on my ellipsoids, who should drive up but a very loud and slick looking bunch of e36's (and an e46) with DTMpower.net stickers. It was surreal, especially because a couple of them recognized my car from the rims and greeted me with "Hey, it's Russell328is!" It was Tom (The Notorious), Carlos, and of course, I forgot the name of the very friendly guy I talked to the most, who had a gorgeous cosmos m3 with an aggressive bodykit (Hamman? Zeemax?) and what looked like large Hartge rims. Anyway, they couldn't believe I was all the way up there and not staying for the meet, and neither could I, but alas I have a gig tomorrow in NY and so had to take my lame 55w bulbs and drive for 5 hours to get home.

When they lined up to pull out of the parking lot, they each did the obligatory dtmpower burnout I've seen on all their videos -- it was great.

Hey Russell,
Sorry to hear about the 55W/100W mixup. Hopefully they get that sorted out for you. Buy hey, at least you got to meet up with some of the DTM guys (and their burnouts!).

So, Everybody, how was the Show and Shine!?

Anybody have pics?

:D That was me Ted! It was nice to meet you and thanks for the complement. Here's some pics (http://www.dtmpower.net/forum/showthread.php?threadid=16603) from the show. Sorry you missed it but maybe next year. Peace!

Ah yeah I remember your car..I was crouched behind it for a bit checking out your UUC exhaust :) What do you think of it..how was the fit/sound?

Ted! Hahaha, I remembered your rims incorrectly, it seems... At any rate, how was the show? Did you win stuff? Buy stuff? After you guys left I reconsidered and drove around Portsmouth for a bit trying to find you, but in the end I realized I just had to go home. :(

Anyway, great to see you and your car on the board!
